I am looking to have a combined rhinoplasty and septoplasty. What is the difference between having this done by an ENT vs. a plastic surgeon?

As a facial plastic surgeon with a background in ENT, we approach the nose to address both functional and aesthetic concerns. Doing both procedures at the same time is a good idea because we typically use cartilage taken from the septum at the time of the septoplasty to use for various grafts in rhinoplasty. These grafts are strategically-placed pieces of cartilage to improve function and/or achieve a desired aesthetic goal.
