Procedure Detail: This 51 year old woman presented to Dr. Batniji with fullness of the lower eyelids and hollowness beneath the lower lids. She was particularly concerned with a crease of the right lower eyelid. Dr. Batniji discussed the benefits of lower eyelid surgery (lower blepharoplasty) with re-positioning of the lower eyelid fat into the hollowed areas to provide a more youthful contour to the lower eyelid and cheek complex. However, this patient preferred a non-surgical option. Therefore, Dr. Batniji performed Juvederm injections to the lower eyelids in the office to smoothen out the hollowness in the lower eyelids and provide a more youthful appearance.
