This woman presented to Dr. Batniji with hooding of the upper eyelids and fullness/bags of the lower eyelids. The hooding of the upper eyelids in her case is due to heaviness of the brow/forehead and excess skin of the upper eyelids. Dr. Batniji recommended an endoscopic brow (forehead) lift and upper blepharoplasty to address the hooding of the upper eyelids. Additionally, Dr. Batniji performed lower eyelid blepharoplasty; he repositioned the fat pads into the areas of hollowness to the lower lids, thus creating a more youthful contour between the lower eyelid and cheek junction. Dr. Batniji performed her surgery during the Facial Rejuvenation plastic surgery conference in Beverly Hills in 2016 and the live video was transmitted to the Beverly Wilshire Hotel where nearly 300 attendees could observe these surgical techniques.
