I’m interested in ethnic rhinoplasty to address a hump on my nose. Can I just slightly reduce the hump rather than having it removed altogether?

I use an instrument that enables me to shave down the bony hump delicately and accurately. It is different than the traditional rasp or osteotomy. It is an oscillating powered instrument that is smaller in size than traditional instrumentation, thus allowing for more accurate treatment of a bony hump. Cartilage hump is trimmed down with scissors or a scalpel. Digital imaging during the consultation period assists in the dialogue of what your desires are for refinement of the hump and we use those images as a guide in the operating room.
