The tip of my nose looks like it has a bulb on it and I think I would look better if it were made a bit smaller. Is fixing this nose problem called rhinoplasty? Can my nose be fixed from inside the nose?

A rhinoplasty would provide refinement to the tip of your nose. Several factors must be considered when performing a rhinoplasty for nasal tip refinement. One factor is nasal skin thickness. The thicker the nasal skin, the more challenging it is to achieve refinement of the nasal tip. Another factor is the inherent qualities of the nasal tip cartilages. In an effort to achieve refinement of these cartilages, I not only trim some of the cartilage but also reinforce it with cartilage from the septum. This provides a result that is natural in appearance and long lasting. In order to perform these maneuvers to the nasal tip, I sometimes prefer the open or external approach.
