If you have a deviated septum, will fixing it also improve a crooked appearance?

It depends. There are several potential causes for a crooked appearance of the nose. One cause is asymmetry of the nasal bones. Another potential cause is narrowing of the mid-nasal vault on one side of the nose, resulting in a crooked appearance. The nasal tip cartilages may be asymmetric, thus giving another potential cause of crooked appearance to the nose. There may be facial asymmetries which can be subtle but more apparent on close evaluation; this may result in a crooked appearance of the nose. Another potential cause of crooked appearance of nose is deviated septum. So, while you may have a deviated septum and crooked appearance of the nose, I evaluate for other potential sources of crooked appearance.
