Do you use digital imaging for rhinoplasty consultations and, if so, how accurate is the imaging?
I do use digital imaging for rhinoplasty consultations. I find that it is a wonderful opportunity to discuss your aesthetic goals, particularly on the profile (side) view. I perform the digital imaging myself as I know what can and, more importantly, what cannot be achieved in the operating room. Once we decide upon an aesthetic goal that is suitable for you, I take these images with me to the operating room so that I may reference the images at the time of surgery.

Through a well concealed, minimally-invasive approach, the jowls are re-positioned and a more youthful neck and jawline can be achieved. Over time, volume of cheek tissues is lost. As well, the cheek sags. These changes may be addressed with a variety of techniques. One option is adding volume through injectable fillers. What kind of lip reshaping procedures do you perform?
For fine lines/wrinkles around the lips, I perform skin resurfacing with a fractionated laser. Another potential treatment option for fine lines/wrinkles around the lips is filler augmentation with Juvederm.
For those patients who wish to have more volume to the lips, Juvederm is an excellent injectable filler option.
For patients who want a more permanent result, surgical options such as lip advancement or subnasal lip lift might be beneficial.
If the corners of the mouth are turned downwards, I like to lift the corner of the mouth with either injectable filler or surgery.
