Procedure Detail: This patient presented to Dr. Batniji in consultation for evaluation of a non-healing lesion of the tip of the nose. Dr. Batniji performed a biopsy which demonstrated basal cell carcinoma. Therefore, Dr. Batniji removed the skin cancer, which went down to but did not include the cartilage of the nose. He then reconstructed the subsequent defect with a bilobed flap; this flap not only provides coverage of the defect but is also designed to allow for a natural result.
