At Batniji Facial Plastic Surgery, we understand that each person’s skin is unique and skin conditions may change daily.  Dr. Batniji and his staff continually evaluate skin care products that protect and enhance results achieved in surgical and/or non-surgical facial rejuvenation procedures.  To that end, we have chosen skin care products that are exclusive to physicians and offer proven results.  Ask for a complimentary skin analysis with your consultation to ensure proper prescription for your skin care regimen.

Cleansers

Replenish Hydrating Facial Cleanser by Vivite
This gentle cleanser is ideal for sensitive skin to remove daily residue, makeup, and oil. It is unscented, soap-free, and contains no glycolic compound. Use twice daily.

Vivite Exfoliating Facial Cleanser
This cleanser contains a 15% glycolic compound to gently remove the most superficial layer of skin, thus leaving you with skin that is fresher and newer in appearance.  As this is an exfoliating treatment, it should be used no more than 2-3 times a week.

Cleansing Complex by IS Clinical
This vitamin-rich cleanser contains natural extracts of both salicylic and glycolic acids to clean and gently resurface the skin.

Serums/Treatments

Every skin care regimen should incorporate a serum or treatment to be used daily or 2-3 times a week in order to achieve and maintain smooth texture of the skin and reverse skin damage due to environmental free radicals.

IS Clinical Active Serum
This serum ensures controlled exfoliation and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while treating skin that is prone to breakouts.

IS Clincal Super Serum
This potent serum provides all the benefits of vitamin C and features powerful botanicals and peptides to produce results that are natural in appearance.

IS Clinical Pro Heal
This potent serum contains Vitamins C, E, A and olive leaf extract to reduce redness, inflammation, rosacea, and acne.

IS Clinical Hydra Cool
This serum provides penetrating hydration while calming and soothing irritated skin. This serum reduces mild acne symptoms and offers antioxidant protection.

Glycolic Facial by Vivite
Contains a 70% glycolic compound to improve overall skin clarity and smoothness. Can be repeated every 4 weeks.

Vivite Vibrance Therapy
A natural, hydroquinone-free product brightens skin and evens tone and texture. This is an excellent option for the treatment of brown spots, hyperpigmenation, and sun-damaged skin.

Youth Eye Complex by IS Clinical
Contains powerful protein peptides, growth factors, and antioxidants to hydrate skin and reduce puffiness and dark circles around the eyes.

Oxygenating Foundation by Oxygenetix
A breathable, oxygen enriched foundation that improves skin conditions and leaves skin looking fresh and radiant.

Moisturizers

Moisturizing Complex by IS Clinical
Contains retinol to reduce appearance of fine lines/wrinkles and contains antioxidants to provide environmental protection.

Replenish Hydrating Cream by Vivite
This moisturizer is ideal for sensitive skin to restore skin hydration. It contains no glycolic compound. Use once to twice daily.

Vivite Night Renewal
This moisturizer contains a 20% glycolic compound to promote repair and maintenance of skin. This moisturizer is applied nightly.

Sun Protection

Colorescience
This mineral powder with SPF 30 provides broad spectrum (UVA, UVB, and infrared) sun protection with zinc oxide and titanium oxide. It comes in an easy to use retractable brush.

EltaMD UV Clear SPF 46
This very lightweight, oil-free formula is ideal for sensitive, oily, and/or acne-prone skin. Contains zinc oxide.

EltaMD UV Daily SPF 40
This daily sunscreen contains hyaluronic acid for skin hydration. Ideal for normal to dry skin types. Contains zinc oxide.

EltaMD UV Sport SPF 50
This sunscreen is very water resistant and is excellent for swimmers, surfers, runners, golfers, and other outdoor activities. Safe for use with children. Contains zinc oxide.

Skin Care for Acne

At Batniji Facial Plastic Surgery, we believe in working closely with patients who have active acne in an effort to effectively manage the outbreaks of acne.  This includes a thorough skin care consultation.  Skin care options include the CLENZIderm™ M.D. System, which is the only prescription-strength acne treatment that contains a patented, soluble form of 5% benzoyl peroxide to penetrate deep into the skin and treat acne where it starts.   As well, Dr. Batniji may incorporate a series of laser based treatments using the Isolaz system, steroid injections, and antibiotics (topical or systemic) as needed to gain control of the patient’s active acne.  To view before and after pictures demonstrating results achieved with the use of the CLENZIderm™ M.D. System, please click here.

Skin Care Program for Laser Resurfacing Patients

For patients with darker complexions (Asian, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern) who are interested in laser resurfacing, Dr. Batniji and his staff incorporate a program to prepare the skin for the laser resurfacing.  This program includes the following products:

Sunscreen
At Batniji Facial Plastic Surgery, we carry a variety of sunscreens made by Colorescience and EltaMD that contain the proper SPF and appropriate ingredients to protect against UVA and UVB.  Apply every morning and re-apply every 2 hours as needed for sun protection.

Bleaching Cream by VI Derm
This product contains Hydroquinone (4%), Kojic Acid, Azelaic Acid, Arbutin, and Licorice extract to exfoliate, bleach, and inhibit hyperpigmentation and sun spots.

Ultra A by VI Derm
This product contains 0.1% tretinoin to improve upon sun spots, sun damaged skin, fine lines, and wrinkles.
