I have a flabby neck and a double chin. Are these things that the neck lift can fix?

I would recommend a neck lift.  The first part of the neck lift is performed through an incision underneath the chin.  Through this incision, I perform neck liposuction.  I then tighten the neck muscle underneath the chin; this is called the platysma muscle.  Then, through incisions behind the ear, we re-position the platysma muscle up and back, thus further refining the neck line.  The excess skin is trimmed behind the ear.  Occasionally, patients who benefit from a neck lift also benefit from a lower facelift to address jowl formation and neck/facial skin laxity.  Facelift adds a small, well-hidden incision along the contours of the ear.
