Upper Eyelid Surgery Photo Gallery

Procedure details: This 53 year old female presented with an interest in rejuvenation of the upper and lower eyelids. Specifically, she wanted to address the hooding of the upper eyelids and fullness of the lower eyelids. Dr. Batniji recommended an upper blepharoplasty to trim the excess skin of the upper eyelids. The incision for this procedure is well hidden within the crease of the upper eyelid. For the lower eyelids, Dr. Batniji noted the patient had fullness of the lower eyelids due to fat pads of the lower eyelids. As well, she demonstrated hollowness between the lower eyelids and cheek. Dr. Batniji performed a lower blepharoplasty to address excess skin of the lower eyelid, re-position the fat pads of the lower eyelids into the hollow areas and a cheek lift to achieve a more youthful contour of the lower eyelid/cheek complex. As well, he performed a lateral canthopexy to support and enhance the position of the lower eyelid margin.
