Procedure details: This 27 year old male presented to Dr. Batniji after being struck in the face. He experienced a nose bleed (epistaxis), difficulty breathing through the nose, and an obvious nasal deformity. As well, he had a cut (laceration) along the dorsum of the nose that was sutured in the Emergency Department. This patient previously had a septo-rhinoplasty performed in the distant past. Dr. Batniji performed an open reduction total functional nasal septal reconstruction as well as revision of the laceration of the dorsum of the nose. Now, the patient reports significant improvement in his ability to breathe through the nose.
