Lower Eyelid Surgery Photo Gallery

Procedure details: This 54 year old female presented for evaluation of her lower eyelids. Specifically, she was concerned with hollowness beneath the eyes (aka. Tear trough deformity or nasojugal groove), an irregular ridge/crease contour of the left lower eyelid, rounding of the lower eyelid margin relative to the colored part of the eye, fullness/bulging of the lower eyelids, and fine lines/wrinkles of the lower eyelids. Dr. Batniji performed the following:

• Lower lid blepharoplasty with lateral retinacular suspension (lateral canthopexy) suture and injection of Juvederm to the lower eyelid hollows. Dr. Batniji used the lateral retinacular suspension (lateral canthopexy) suture to achieve a more youthful contour of the lower eyelid position.
• Laser skin resurfacing of the lower eyelid skin to address the fine lines/wrinkles; this was performed at the same time as surgery. Dr. Batniji used the Sciton laser, which is a fractionated laser. With this system, he performed 3 different laser treatments in one to address not only the fine lines and wrinkles, but also treat pigmentation of the skin. These treatments include: broadband light, microlaser peel, and profractional laser treatments.
• Botox injection to address the crow’s feet.

In addition to the aforementioned procedures for the lower eyelids, Dr. Batniji also performed:

• Facelift with necklift.
• Endoscopic brow lift.
• Upper blepharoplasty.
• Full face laser resurfacing.
