At Batniji Facial Plastic Surgery of Newport Beach, California, we now offer Latisse® for the treatment of inadequate or insufficient eyelashes (hypotrichosis). This FDA-approved treatment is the first of its kind for increasing eyelash length, thickness and darkness. Latisse® is believed to work by increasing the length of the growth or anagen phase of the eyelash hair cycle as well as the number of hairs in this growth phase.

Latisse® is applied once a day to the base of the upper eyelashes. Patients apply the solution themselves using a sterile, single-use-per-eye disposable applicator. Results will be noticeable within 8 weeks with significant improvement seen after sixteen weeks.
