Exilis is a revolutionary procedure which uses radiofrequency technology to heat the tissues deep beneath the skin in order to tighten loose skin and reduce fat deposits. Exilis is an ideal non-surgical option for those seeking a less invasive way to rejuvenate the face. Unlike laser skin resurfacing techniques, the Exilis treatment has no downtime.
Exilis delivers radiofrequency energy deep beneath the skin to promote collagen production and skin tightening. This tightens the skin and improves wrinkles. Exilis is excellent for treating facial areas like the upper eyelids, lower eyelids, jawline, jowls and neckline.
Dr. Batniji of Batniji Facial Plastic Surgery in Newport Beach, California, is proud to offer Exilis skin tightening. Treatment is performed in the office setting at our Southern California location. There is minimal discomfort as patients experience a moderation sensation of heat. This heating is gradual so patients feel comfortable and relaxed during treatment. Anesthesia is not needed. It takes approximately ten minutes to treat both eyes and about twenty minutes to the treat the neckline or jawline. Because there is no peeling of the skin, patients are able to immediately resume their normal activities as well as their regular skincare regimen. Some minor redness can occur which can last for up to one to two days, but makeup can be worn after treatment to help conceal this redness. Results occur gradually over time and it may take as much as two to four months before the maximum effect is realized. Most patients undergo a series of four weekly treatments for optimal results.
