Question:

I had a chin implant surgery done years ago, and want to reverse it. Do you suggest a new, smaller implant, or complete removal?

Answer:

It depends upon what it is about the current implant you do not like. If you feel the implant is large, it can be removed and replaced with a smaller one. Otherwise, the current implant can be removed and we can assess the aesthetic result of your chin without an implant. If we feel you need augmentation after removal of the implant and time has passed for swelling from surgery to resolve, augmentation can be achieved with a smaller implant or with filler injections.
